We believe great social entertainment should be transparent, safe, and genuinely fun — not manipulative or financially draining.
Who We Are
NiagaraVista was founded in Victoria, British Columbia, by a small team that had grown frustrated with the dark patterns prevalent in freemium mobile gaming. We wanted to build something genuinely different: a social round experience that feels polished and playful without exploiting psychological vulnerabilities.
Our team came from diverse backgrounds — game design, web development, and mental health advocacy — which shaped our foundational commitment to player wellbeing. We consulted responsible gaming researchers before we wrote a single line of gameplay code.
Crystal Cave Rounds grew out of that research. The increasing paylines mechanic was designed specifically to give players a meaningful in-session progression loop without requiring them to spend real money or come back the next day. Each session starts fresh and ends cleanly.
We are based at 408 Douglas Street, Victoria, BC. We are reachable by phone and email, and we respond to player feedback personally — not through automated systems.

What we don't do
We do not use real-money mechanics, loot boxes, aggressive push notifications, social pressure features, or any design that artificially inflates session time.
What we do
We build free, transparent social games with clear mechanics, publicly documented odds, and prominent links to responsible gaming resources on every single page.
How we measure success
Players who play for 10 minutes and leave feeling good. Not players who play for 4 hours and feel worse. We measure wellbeing, not engagement.
